Battery life varies by model: TRP-910 (700mAh) about 7-10 days in normal use with Smart Sleep Mode, TRP-920 (1,500mAh) 15-20 days, TRM-700 (5,000mAh) up to 50 days, TRM-700B (10,000mAh) up to 100 days, TRM-700C (20,000mAh) up to 180 days. The TRC-820 plugs into car power. On the TRP-910 the reporting interval is adjustable from 30 seconds to 24 hours; a fixed 1-minute interval with Smart Sleep Mode off transmits continuously and lasts considerably less, so 5 or 10 minutes with sleep mode on suits a school day.

The TRM-700, TRM-700B and TRM-700C models feature IP65 water resistance, protecting against dust and water jets. Suitable for outdoor use in rain and harsh weather.

Yes. Every TRAKITO tracker ships with a multi-network M2M SIM, not a consumer SIM tied to one operator. It registers on whichever partner network is reachable at that moment and moves between them automatically as the device travels, so a weak signal from one operator does not leave it offline. It works in all 27 EU countries we ship to, and the first month of service is included in the device price. There is no card to insert and nothing to buy from a local operator.

You receive an immediate alert with the current position. You choose the channels and can use several at once: push notification, e-mail, Telegram, and a real telephone call to your mobile if you have the Call Notifications add-on. Please note the TRP-910 has no microphone or speaker, so it is not a phone: your child cannot speak through it and nobody can listen through it. The SOS button sends an alarm with the location, and Call Alert rings your phone.

Push, e-mail and Telegram alerts are included as standard at no extra cost. The telephone call is a separate add-on: Call Notifications costs EUR 5.99 for 6 months, about EUR 1 per month, and covers every device on your account. It includes 25 answered calls per month and unlimited unanswered attempts, so even the ring tells you something has happened. The call reaches you even when the app is closed. For an SOS button that must not be missed we recommend it, because a push notification can go unnoticed in a pocket.

Yes. The two buttons appear in the app as Up Key and Down Key, and each has its own free-text message field where you type whatever you want, for example "I have arrived" or "Call me". When the button is pressed you receive that message together with the current position. This is one-way: the device has no microphone or speaker, so it cannot be spoken through in either direction.

The TRP-910 has a beeper, and you can switch it off from the app. With the beeper off the device is entirely silent: no confirmation tones when a button is pressed and no sound when an alert is sent. For a device carried discreetly in a pocket or a school bag this is the setting most parents choose. The pet trackers TRA-200 and TRA-300 have a buzzer you can trigger deliberately to help locate the animal.

No, if you do not want them to. The power button can be locked from the app, and once locked the device cannot be switched off by pressing it, neither accidentally in a pocket nor deliberately by anyone else. You are also notified when the device is powered off or on, when the battery is running low, and when charging has finished.

For the telephone call alert, no. It is placed over the ordinary telephone network to the number saved on your TRAKITO account, so the phone that receives it needs no app, no internet connection and no notification permissions — it simply rings like any other call, and even a basic phone works. The call plays an alert tone and then speaks one short sentence naming the device, what happened and the nearest place, in Greek or in English. Push, e-mail and Telegram alerts do need their own app or account. Save your number with its country code, in international format, or the call cannot be placed.
